Such an amazingly beautiful villa perfectly located in the beautiful town of Komiza. The view especially from the top bedroom is not to be believed! I would not hesitate to recommend this villa for a family or group of friends visiting Vis. Thank you so much for having us all, and hope to stay with you again very soon.

We had a great time in Komiza and were very sad to leave. The villa was fantastic and so convenient, the terrace lovely and the air-con a godsend! Thank you

Ron, UK on July 2018

Great location and apartment. Suitable for 8 guests comfortably; if 10 guests, be aware 4 must share one room. Great outdoor space with blinds to control sunlight and temperature and comfortable outdoor furniture. The hosts are awesome and gave us perfect instructions on how to get the bus over the hill from Vis and met us at the bus stop. One of the best Airbnb's I have stayed at.

Geir, Norway on July 2018

Excellent location and well stocked house. The patio/veranda is great!

Robert, Hungary on July 2018

Highly recommended for bigger families or group of friends. Few steps right or left and you get the whole Komiza and the crystal clear sea. The separated 4 bedrooms and bathrooms combo excellent solution. The kitchen functions well with the fireplace which is unique. The big (!) terrace is more than comfortable. Staff is helpful, efficient. We spent lovely days in the house. No excuse, it's perfect.

Very charming house. The pictures can not describe how cosy it is. Excellent location. Great host. I definitely recommend and hope to stay there again. Super thanks

Fantastic house, fantastic location, helpful host - I could go on. Komiza is great place to relax. The house is central to everything, with a view of the sea from the balcony. We were a family of 4, and there was plenty of room. The host was very helpful and provided some great information on local places to eat etc.

As a larger group we had an incredibly comfortable stay at Villa Maris. A very lush space :) The outdoor decking and bathrooms in each bedroom made it feel easily sharable. Such a wonderful location, a short walk to the beaches and action but still felt tucked away and cosy. Would definitely recommend!

the villa was great. very recently remodeled, great location, very clean, great view from upstairs bedroom! highly recommend this villa and to stay in komiza if you visit Vis. charming town. each bedroom has their own bathroom and shower. great villa for a few couples to share. upstairs shower is not separated from toilet may bother some but floor drains through planks so not really a problem for us! Ivana greeted us at bus stop in komiza after taking krilo from split and bus from Vis town. villa is 3 minutes walk to main harbour promenade and 5 min walk to bus stop.

Review from my parents and their friends staying at Villa Maris: We were six people, including two couples who stayed in Villa Maris, Komiza 26/9 - 10/10 . A newly renovated stone house with the absolute highest standard! Nothing was missing! Four bedrooms, four bathrooms, Wifi With TV in every room and in the kitchen. Lovely outdoor deck that offered table with room for 10 people . Very close to the local square and harbor with all the grocery stores and most restaurants and " konobas " . Calm and lovely neighbourhood. No noisy car- or moped traffic. And The hosts! Alma and Ratko was incredibly nice and helpful: They met us at the bus station in the evening of arrival and were always quick at answering our questions and concerns . I highly recommend their accommodation and give it 10 stars! / Jarl with five friends Stina , Helene , Sven, Anders and Maud

Alma and her husband was very nice and helpful. The house was absolutely lovely, especially the big terrace! Perfect location in lovely Komiza, would highly recommend this to anyone!

Alma was very helpful and made everything very easy for us. Unfortunately we had change of plans and didn't end up staying at Alma's apartment but she was very fast to respond to messages and requests.

The place was great. Completely as advertised. We loved up and would recommend. We wish we booked for longer.

Villa Maris was a very comfortable place to stay! The patio is huge and quiet and you can still get a glimpse from the sea there. Komiza was a wonderful town to visit as it is nice and quiet with beautiful walking beaches within a 5 minute walking distance. Alma met us at the bus stop and brought us to the place, which is right in the centre of the small town. The rooms are all quite large with the nicest views on the top floor.

Amanda, USA on May 2015

Alma was great and met us at the bus stop to walk us to the house very close by. This house is amazing! My husband and I rented it for 4 nights. It is just a few steps from the main part of town and very close to the beaches, yet still very quiet. We spent a lot of time reading on the couch on the sun deck where you can hear the waves crashing - glorious! We enjoyed our stay so much and we were even able to spend a rainy day enjoying the deck. I would definitely recommend staying here. It worked well for the two of us.

Kathryn, USA on May 2015

Our time in Komisa was fantastic. The house is beautiful! It was clean, well equipped, beautifully designed, and terrifically located. Unfortunately we had a few days of poor weather while we were there and we were so thankful that we had such a comfortable and beautiful place to pass some time. Alma is an absolute pleasure, so friendly and attentive. Meeting her was like meeting an old friend. She was so accommodating and flexible, from bringing freshly picked flowers to meet us at the bus to allowing us to return to the house and keep our bags there after checkout. We very highly recommend her and the house and only regret that we are no longer there.

Alma was the perfect host and made us feel welcome from the moment we started our trip from home with detailed directions, travel advice, and recommendations for activities in Komiza. Villa Maris was beautiful and well appointed for our family of four adults and three kids. Alma also introduced us to a fantastic fisherman who took us on a fishing trip where we caught a 110lbs tuna. All in, this was a fantastic trip and I can highly recommend Villa Maris.

Robert, Canada on August 2014

The house is very compact and vertical, there's a spiral staircase connecting the 4 floors, we had seven people in our group and the house felt full. Our top bedroom was very nice, we had super air-conditioning and although the outside temperature was very hot, we never felt hot in the house. The outside porch is great and we even managed a dinner party for 12 people. The heart of the town is 100yrds away and parking for a car is perhaps 200yrds away up the hill. The town is wonderful, bustling in the summer but never felt too busy or touristy. We had a great stay. The only slight issue where the abundance of mosquitoes, not sure if anything could be done about that.

Ema, Australia on September 2018

Beautifully equipped - crisp white linen, towels and blankets - all so well kept. All bathrooms were spotless as well as the kitchen and living areas. Beautiful outdoor living area with massive couch and big table - so relaxing and comfortable for all guests no one missed out on a spot! Location is awesome - nice and close to the centre (2 min walk). Bit of a walk to parking but you don’t need your car every 5 minutes so it is really not an issue - and parking is affordable (60kuna per day). Host Ana was lovely! Internet was fast and we were all really happy! Highly recommend.

  • House is very beautiful, functional and clean. This house has everything you need for perfect vacation and even more. Beautiful terrace with sea view is my favorite part of the property.
